Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

So Daddy and I went to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt this morning. I had always dreamed that an Easter egg hunt would be more challenging than 1,000 eggs laying out in an open field, but apparently this is the best scenario for enabling 50 kids to vie for eggs all at once. If any of you creative types could think of a more challenging and fun way to plan these mass Easter egg hunts, let my dad know. He'd love to see it done differently.
