I didn't want to post this. I thought it had gone away. We thought if we ignored it, he would stop. That's not working - so far.
Our son has made up a word for "bummer" - his own curse word of sorts. There. I said it. It feels good to confess it.
Jackson says "trappers!" when things don't go like he expected, when he falls down, drops things, etc. He even started saying "Oh, double trappers!".
We have NO IDEA where this came from. We've been trying to figure it out for months. We're pretty sure that it is NOT from a certain C-word that may-or-may-not rhyme with "trappers", because that is not a word that is said in this house. He had stopped saying it for a few weeks, but has started back again. (I think Tim may have something to do with that because he thinks Jack's word is hilarious and jokingly uses it now, too.)
Guess there are worse things?!
